Helioviewer Server Technical Difficulties

We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties with our main Helioviewer server. While we work on fixing it, we have moved all helioviewer.org services over to our backup server. All normal helioviewer.org services should be operating nominally. Please contact us if you notice anything amiss with helioviewer.org. JHelioviewer services are currently not operational, but we hope to have these up and running as soon as possible. Near real-time AIA and HMI images should be available as usual; streams of images from SOHO, STEREO and PROBA2 should be back to near real-time within 24 hours.

We apologize for the interruption to Helioviewer services, and we thank you for your patience.

I would like a site sponsored forum where users can discuss and post images and video obtained from the viewer. A help or how to section would be beneficial as well. After having many time consuming errors I was able to produce a short video that I uploaded to youtube. http://youtu.be/HTMH8P1J8k8 I noticed that the image quality from the viewer on my PC looks great, but after uploading to youtube the video has lost a good bit of detail. Is there something I can do to prevent this loss.

    Hi!
I’m actually working on the Sun quake which occured on the 13th Ferbruar 2011, and no HDI data from SDO seems available. Do you have any information regarding this?
    Thanks
    Best regards,
    Clement

I’ve tried uploading Helioviewer-produced videos twice to YouTube, but nothing is showing up either in my account or elsewhere (by the name I used). I’m logged in to Google in my Chrome browser. A Help secion would be hugely helpful – the Wiki is missing both troubleshooting and guidance. Thanks! Great way to view the Sun!

I get this message when I go on firefox
{“error”:”Error encountered during authentication. Revoke a for Helioviewer.org in your Google settings page and try again.”,”errno”:42 hope this helps.

I keep getting the same problem in not being able to upload videos to my youtube channel. It keeps asking me to save in downloads. This has been happening for about 3 weeks now!!!

This is my first time in here. I tried to start that JHelioviewer and it showed error:
    “Error loading Kakadu libraries
Fatal error! The kakadu libraries could not be loaded. The log output may contain additional information.”

This is so sad.. I would want to test this program.
